We open and close this collection of songs with Singing Just for Friends, which was written for the Bushnell's Basin Delegation to record in 1987, and was also recorded by The Dady Brothers in 2000 for inclusion on their Songs of the Erie Canal CD. The song is a celebration of the circle of friendship, respect, and community that develops between musicians. Along our journey we have been blessed to have a number of our original songs recorded and performed by our fellow musicians. It is because of them we offer this collection of our songs - sung in other voices - from two grateful artists who have been lucky enough to share their music with these friends.
