Hello, I'm Sherri Reese. I am a watercolor artist and musician. As far back as I can remember, I have expressed myself thru the arts. Even back in grade school I was the "go to" student when it was time to decorate the room for the holidays.

As a teenager I taught myself to sing and play guitar and played bluegrass and traditional folk music with my father, daughter, and neice, in a family band. As an adult I teamed up with folk musician and fellow songwriter, Joe LaMay, taught myself to play the banjo, and have been performing in the duo LaMay and Reese since 1998.

I've always been interested in drawing and painting, in 2016, I made it my quest to take up water color painting. Initially I wanted to focus on painting birds but soon realized I needed to develop a background style and that caused me to work on landscapes and rural scenes. Growing up on a farm in Central New York, and having lived in South Central Kentucky since 2004, I've developed a real feel for rural settings.This website has been developed as a showcase for my work and also as a marketplace for purchasing my artwork.
