PATRICK & KATHY SCHWAR first met in a coffee house while at Northern Illinois University and began trading folk music books and scribbled lyrics and chords. They rediscovered their guitars several years ago and then discovered that singing together could be fun. They enjoy creating sets that encourage audience participation. They will bring songs from favorite folk singers, those from “traditional” eras on through the ‘60s and into the 2000s. Their music is supported by their two guitars - maybe a mandolin - or, who knows, maybe a banjo or autoharp.

Located at 77 West Main Street in Macedon, NY, 77 WEST MAIN is developing into a multi-functional music venue, offering a concert series, open mics, workshops, classes, and a meeting place for music groups and organizations.

Each concert begins with an open-mic followed by the main act performance. Suggested donation is $10.00. For more information and/or directions, call, email, or text.
